Sunday, 9 July 2023 - Calgary’s one and only official poetry slam, we've has been bringing competitive poetry to YYC since 2003. Slam poetry is a democratic platform for expression, so join as us a performer or as an audience member and see the top spoken word talent in the city! Doors at 6:30PM. The sign-up sheet for both the open mic and the slam will be released at 7:00PM, and the show will start at 7:30PM. Admission is $10 cash at door, with a sliding scale for those who identify as low-income or students. -
