Bring a Friend and Sing with Cantare Children's Choir Dates / Times 2020-03-16 to 2020-03-16 (18:00 to 20:30) Organization Cantaré Children's Choir Type Single Day Community 10620 Elbow Drive SWCalgary, ABT2P 1S7 403.685.1132 Cantaré Children's Choir is an award winning choir dedicated to providing an extraordinary choral music experience through excellence in performance, outstanding music education, serving the community through song, and touring. Our choristers learn vocal skills, musicianship, teamwork, courage and leadership, not to mention develop academic skills in the areas of math, language, literacy, history, music and more. We are holding our annual "Bring a Friend" nights on Monday March 16 or March 18. This is an opportunity for children who may be interested in developing their music skills to experience what it is like to be part of a community based children's choir. We offer three different ensembles to meet the differing needs and abilities of children who are 6-18 years of age. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to take part in our "Bring a Friend" evening. Interested students who are in grades 1-3 would take part in rehearsal with our Cantilena ensemble at 6pm, students in grade 4-6 would take part in rehearsal with our Cantiga ensemble at 7pm on Monday March 16. Students in grade 7-12 would take part in rehearsal with our Cantaré ensemble on Wednesday March 18 at 6pm.
