The tone of the work is luscious as the music is cast at a predominantly prayerful, slow pace. The opening is especially haunting. We are thrilled to feature soprano soloist and Cantare alumna, Lauren Woods is this performance. We are also thrilled to welcome a wonderful string ensemble to accompany this glorious music which will be sung, by candlelight, in the intimate setting of Lutheran Church of the Cross. .
