As a way of engaging you in this special world, Calgary Opera offers a fun and informative evening prior to the opening of each mainstage production. Taste of the Opera is exactly that, a 'taste' of each of the upcoming shows — a panel discussion with some of the opera's key cast and/or creative team, a short performance and a Q&A period. The evening culminates with a taste of food and drink from the region in which the featured opera takes place.
