Greek Annual Bazaar Dates / Times 2016-11-04 to 2016-11-05 (11:00 to 07:00) Organization Greek Ladies of Philoptochos Type Multi Day Community 1 Tamarac Cr SWCalgary, ABT3B 3B7 Greek Ladies of Philoptochos is pleased to announce that it will be hosting their Annual Greek Bazaar Friday November 4th from 11am to 8pm and Saturday, November 5th 2016 from 9:30am to 7pm at the St. Demetrios Orthodox Community Hall, 1 Tamarac Cr S.W. (next to the Spruce Cliff Shopping Plaza. We invite you to come and enjoy home-made authentic Greek food desserts, and crafts. You can eat in or take out. Admission is $2.00 and includes a coffee, home-made pastry and an entry in our daily raffle where you can win one of many great prizes. There is no charge for children under the age of 12. We will also be selling raffle tickets for a Trip for 2 to Greece (Value $3000) for $5.00. ABOUT THIS EVENT: The Greek Ladies of Philoptochos is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to helping those in need in the community. The Greek Annual Bazaar is their only source of funds to provide help to those who need the support. The funds raised are donated to a large variety of organizations such as The Mustard Seed, Women's Emergency Shelter, World Vision, Operation Eyesight, Canadian Red Cross, Inn from the cold, Alberta Children's Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Association among many others. This event that features a wide variety of Greek desserts and food, gives the public a taste of Greek culture while raising money for charity. Food and family entertainment on both days.
