The water has now receded, but the effects of the flood will be felt for years to come. Learn how bridges, pathways and picnic areas were affected and how improvements to park infrastructure since 2005, like the bridge reconstruction and engineered wetlands, helped to minimize the damage in the park. Explore the similarities and differences between the 2005 and 2013 floods and learn about the ongoing challenges faced by the Park to clean-up, rebuild and reassess the most heavily affected areas of Fish Creek Provincial Park.
