Geology Minibus Tour Location: Fish Creek Provincial Park When: Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Geology Tour - Only $20.00 Thurs, Aug. 29 - 10:00am - 12:00pm (rain date: Fri, Aug. 30) About 15,000 years ago, the carving out of the Fish Creek Valley by a retreating glacier exposed the bedrock formation along the creek bed. This glacier also left a variety of geological formations throughout the park, such as the sandstone outcroppings at Raven Rocks Preservation Zone and large boulders called erratics.
