This is a unique event in that we have invited special guests including a Breaking deejay to place an emphasis on inspiring dancers with the right vibe to ignite spontaneous creativity! Judges of the competition will include international and local artists whom are well respected within the global Hip Hop dance community and are masters of their craft. This international presence will expose our local Breaking community to the national and international community, entice out of town dancers to come to Calgary, and will urge crews to train hard and give Calgary Bboys and Bgirls a platform to perform and compete. 5 Kings is an all ages event with already 16 crews signed up including crews from Edmonton, Vancouver, Whitehorse, Winnipeg, Toronto and as far as Morocco!
