City of Calgary Universal Metering Program Location: Throughout Forest Heights Community When: Sunday, April 01, 2012 to Tuesday, May 01, 2012 at 9 - 5 WebSite: calgary.ca/watermeters The City of Calgary, Water Services, would like to inform the Forest Heights Community about its Universal Residential Metering Program. The City is in the process of converting remaining residential flat rate water accounts to water meters. This is a key step to ensure The City stays on track with our water efficiency goal of reducing per capita water consumption by 30 per cent over 30 years. To make the final push towards universal residential water metering, The City is contacting flat rate account holders and installing meters on a community-by-community basis. During the month of April 2012, flat rate customers in your community will be contacted, by Metercor (formerly named CMI Inc.) on behalf of the City of Calgary to arrange the installation of a meter. Metercor has been contracted by The City to install water meters. Signage related to this program will be temporarily placed on collector roads to remind account holders about the metering program.
