Kittinger holds the world record for the longest free-fall ever, and is the only person ever to have broken the sound barrier without a vehicle. Kittingerʼs story is the basis for Ghost River Theatreʼs spectacular Betty Mitchell Award-winning The Highest Step in the World, an exhilarating 75-minute solo performance that integrates projection and flying technology in a meditation on the nature of risk. The Highest Step in the World runs at the Victor Mitchell Theatre (Pumphouse Theatres) October 18 29, 2011. Tickets: $35 (Reg.)/ $30 (Students & Seniors).
