Based on the classic children s book, families board buses - as giant steam trains for the Christmas ride of a lifetime before meeting Santa, Mrs. Claus and his Elves at his Workshop in the North Pole. The experience aims to provide these families a magical experience of love, friendship and a sense of belonging in a caring community during the holiday season. The Calgary Polar Express is the first event of its kind in North America: providing magical memories during the holiday season for children and families who would otherwise not have the opportunity. The Calgary Polar Express supports local family shelter Inn From The Cold, and other community organizations whose mandate is to support the underprivileged. Tickets begin at $19.99 for children and $29.99 for adults. Visit: www.calgarypolarexpress.com. . Event Details. Location: 844 Cantabrian Drive S.W.
