Thursday, 2 October 2025 - Calgary Arab Film Nights Festival – October 3–5, 2025 The Calgary Arab Arts & Culture Society is proud to present the 14th annual Calgary Arab Film Nights Festival, taking place at the Globe Cinema from October 3–5, 2025. This three-day festival celebrates the diversity and richness of Arab culture through a dynamic lineup of films from across the Arab world, as well as from Europe, the U.S., and Canada. Opening Night – Friday, October 3 The festival kicks off with Canadian Eye on the Arab World , a special showcase of three Canadian-made films exploring Arab-related stories and perspectives. The evening also features a live musical performance by Cree artist Wendy Walke r and her band. The program begins at 7:00 PM. Festival Screenings – October 4 & 5 On Saturday and Sunday, screenings begin at 1:00 PM, featuring a curated selection of short films from a variety of countries. Festival Launch Party – September 21 Join us at The Confluence from 6:00–8:00 PM for the official launch party.
