The Southern Alberta Woodworkers Society presents the Fine Works in Wood Exhibition & Sale, a showcase of 54 exceptional pieces created by 27 talented makers from across Western Canada. From striking furniture to delicate turned vessels, each piece tells a story of imagination, skill, and dedication to the craft. Visitors will experience the rich tradition of woodworking expressed through contemporary design, timeless techniques, and the natural beauty of wood itself. The exhibition offers more than just a gallery experience. Guests are invited to cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award and enter for a chance to win a $100 Lee Valley gift card. Members of SAWS will also be on hand to share insights into the creative process, materials, and inspiration behind the works on display. By blending artistic expression with practical design, the Fine Works in Wood Exhibition & Sale highlights the enduring vitality of woodworking in our communities.
