Friday, 8 August 2025 - Join us for a creative and meaningful workshop where you can make your own poppy-themed votive candle holder in support of the Royal Canadian Legion. This family-friendly event is open to participants ages six and up. No experience is necessary, just bring your creativity and community spirit! All materials are provided, and our staff and volunteers will be there to guide you through the painting process. Once completed, your glass votive will become part of a powerful community art display at The Military Museums, showcased from September 1 to November 30, 2025. Following the exhibit, the votives will be available to the public by donation starting November 12, with funds going towards the Royal Canadian Legion and the vital work they do for veterans and their families. - Event Details
