Wednesday, 12 February 2025 - Blue Jay Sessions is back with its first songwriters' event series of 2025 at The Prairie Emporium! Head down to the venue on Thursday, Feb. 13 and Friday, Feb. 14 to hear some of the very best independent songwriters of Alberta while enjoying some great drinks, eats in one of the province's most unique event spaces. Whether you are planning to celebrate Valentine's Day or shake your fist at it, Blue Jay Sessions guarantees you'll be captivated by a mix of heartbreak tunes, love tunes, and everything in-between. Thursday, Feb. 13 hosted by Kelsi Mayne 1st session (doors 6PM, music 7PM): Chase Morgan, Luke Colborne (Lucky Sonne), Maclayne 2nd session (doors 8:15PM, music 9PM): HAIDEE, Amy Nelson, Alex Hughes Friday, Feb. 14 hosted by TÉA G 1st session (doors 6PM, music 7PM): Martina Dawn, Marcus Trummer, Ben Tizzard 2nd session (doors 8:15PM, music 9PM): FOXX Worthee, ZENON, Colin Craveiro (Sail Cassady) Food and Drink: TPE will have its winter menu in full effect with delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, BBQ chicken and roast potatoes, baked butternut squash pasta, and more. TPE will have a selection of Dandy Brewing and Blindman Brewing beer, wine, highballs and the venue's signature Pear and Blueberry Mulled Wine, PB & Whisky Hot Chocolate, and more.
