Thursday 21 March 2024 - This year the THIRD ACTion Film Festival showcases more Canadian films, more features, and more music than ever before! Feature films include It's Just a Lifetime: A Portrait of Craig Nuttycombe, a documentary about a folk music legend, followed by our opening night party with live folk music; WaaPaKe (Tomorrow), an NFB film about healing intergenerational trauma with proceeds to the Stardale Women's Group; Keys Bags Names Words, a documentary film about hope in aging and dementia; Testament, directed by Denys Arcand, DGC Lifetime Achievement Award-Winning Director, and Moonstruck, our FREE offering, of the 1987 Norman Jewison classic starring Cher, Nicholas Cage and Olympia Dukakis and sponsored by United Active Living.
