Saturday 2 March 2024 - Tufting is a traditional Indigenous art form using dyed animal hair to create three-dimensional art, jewelry and to decorate clothing. In this workshop, create your own colourful flower pendant out of caribou hair! Join Métis artisan Janis Laboucane as she teaches the process of preparing the hair, how to cut and tuft and the historical and cultural significance of tufting to the Métis people.
