Sunday, 29 October 2023 - Since opening in 1912, The GRAND has become Western Canada's oldest theatre and after 111 years it is safe to say "YES, The GRAND is very likely haunted". Proudly presented in partnership with Calgary Ghost Walks, we invite you to join us October 30th, after the sun sets; for a special walking ghost tour of The GRAND! We'll explore the theatre's history from opening night to today, covering notable visitors, significant events, how The GRAND has evolved to meet Calgary's changing landscape, while maintaining its role as a hub for arts, entertainment and culture, and of course the stories of the ghosts that call The GRAND home. Bar and concession will be open pre and post show for candy as well as non alcoholic drinks and alcoholic drinks including pumpkin beer, in addition to a photo-booth area, and more! *This event is a walking tour which includes several staircases, and an elevator. -
