Friday, 23 June 2023 - Did someone say Tacos... and Tanks ?! Guess what we are back for more! After such a great turn out last year we have decided to make Tanks and Tacos an annual event. Have you ever wanted to go inside a real tank? This is your chance! For one night only, the Military Museums will be opening up its armoured vehicle collection and bringing out special military weapons and equipment for you to explore. Añejo restaurant will be serving up their delicious tacos and cocktails (for purchase) for you to enjoy in our tank park. Feeling thirsty? Don't worry, first drink is on us! New for this year, we are offering Tanks and Tacos the VIP Experience. This private pre-event gives guests an opportunity to venture into our gun vault, interact with Canadian Armed Forces Personnel and enjoy some food and a beverage before all the fun begins. Guests will be able to experience all of the military vehicles before it is open to the public in our first 2 time slots. Guests will have the option to choose from three time slots. Afterwards guests will be invited to stay at The Museums for The Newman Experience, part Mentalist, part Magician making for an experience you won't soon forget! Guests who book the VIP experience will also receive a free copy of Treasuring the Tradition: The Story of The Military Museums as well as a $100 tax receipt! -
