THIRD ACTion is a film festival working towards redefining the narrative around ageing in a positive way through the use of film and film-based events! FILM SYNOPSIS: Muthayya is a comedy/drama set in Chennuru, a remote village in Telangana in India, and tells the story of 70-year-old, Muthayya, who has had a life long dream of acting in movies. He shares all his joys and sorrows with his best friend, 24-year-old Malli, who runs a cycle repair shop in the same village. As the story unfolds, Muthayya tries to exhibit his acting skills through every possible medium including short films and TikTok videos, but the obstacles he faces in the process leaves him heartbroken. The story is about how Muthayya achieves his dream and inspires everyone around him. -
