Eat North presents Alberta ERA

Eat North presents Alberta ERA Dates / Times 2019-06-08 to 2019-06-08 (14:15 to 21:00) Organization Eat North Type Single Day Community Royal Tyrrell Museum, 1500 North Dinosaur Trail Drumheller, ABT0J 0Y0 This year, we are happy to offer two types of tickets for this event: one which provides transportation to and from Drumheller and one which does not. For tickets purchased with transporation: We will provide a coach transportation from a central downtown in Calgary (pick up spot: Fairmont Palliser - 133 9 Avenue S.W.) to the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller leaving promptly at 2:30 p.m. Upon arrival in Drumheller at approximately 3:45 p.m., guests will be moved into small groups and taken on a VIP tour of the museum hosted by Tyrrell's gallery experience officers beginning at 4 p.m. For tickets purchased without transportation: We ask that guests arrive to the main lobby of the Royal Tyrrell Museum no later than 4 p.m. to take part in the museum tour. Following the museum and a bonus private fossil tour for ten lucky attendees (names drawn at random upon arrival), guests will be guided through a private staff area up to the museum's rooftop for canapes, welcome cocktails by Burwood Distillery and an interactive fossil exhibition before sitting down for dinner at 6 p.m. The 4-course dinner menu inspired by interesting types of dinosaurs from different periods of the Mesozoic Era with a jaw-dropping, carnivorous Alberta Pork main course (bring that T-Rex appetite!) with all dishes being paired up with prehistoric-inspired cocktails by Madeleine Mac Donald (SAIT, Lulu Bar) and Wyatt Sutherland (Two Penny) using Burwood Distillery spirits . The dinosaur-inspired dishes have been conceived and will be created by Calgary chefs: Mharlon Atienza (Two Penny), Eraj Jayawickreme (Fairmont Palliser) and Garrett Martin (chef-at-large, formerly Bridgette Bar). Once the event wraps and the sun sets on the beautiful 360 degree Badlands backdrop, coach buses will take all Alberta ERA guests who opted for transport back to the Fairmont Palliser with an estimated arrival of 10:30 p.m. More information on this unique culinary event can be found on Eat North. We have only 100 tickets available. . Event Details.
