Dates / Times 2017-11-01 to 2017-10-31 (00:00 to 00:00) Organization Junior Achievement Southern Alberta Type Single Day Community 870, 105 12 Avenue SECalgary, ABT2G 1A1 403.781.2591 November is Financial Literacy Month and JA is seeking volunteers from all educational and professional backgrounds to share their unique expertise and work experience. Volunteers will work in pairs to facilitate our experiential, hands-on programs in local elementary and middle schools. Our programs focus on teaching financial literacy, work readiness skills and entrepreneurship. The volunteer time commitment is approximately 4 hours (usually over the course of one morning). You can volunteer on one single occasion or as many times as you'd like! JA provides all of the program materials, presentation aids, and a 90 minute training session to help you prepare for the classroom. Get ready for an experience that you'll talk about for years.
