Dr. Gerald Pfeffer M.D.C.M., Ph D and Assistant Professor, Clinical Neurosciences and Medical Genetics and neurologist from the Hotchkiss Brain Institute at the University of Calgary will be speaking about some of his case studies and will be answering questions on neuropathy. Dr. Pfeffer's research focuses on gene discovery in hereditary neuromuscular diseases, and the mechanistic processes which cause disease pathology. This work primarily involves basic science techniques to identify novel single gene disorders.
