Pre-season opening. Okotoks Agri-tourism farm opens in March Dates / Times 2016-03-22 to 2016-03-31 (00:00 to 00:00) Organization Kayben Farms Type Multi Day Community 314064 32 St EOkotoks, ABT1S 0A3 403.938.2857 Because we’ve been having such amazing spring-like weather, Kayben Farms is going to try something a little crazy! Starting March 11, on every day that Environment Canada predicts double digit weather, and no precipitation, the farm will be OPEN! The decision will be made by 8:00 A.M. daily, and posted on the day’s “open or not” section on our Facebook page and website. “There will be limited access, since not all the attractions can be opened yet, but we thought, why not, everyone wants to be playing outside on warm days” says Judy, co owner of the farm. The farm normally opens to the public the first Friday in May, but the owners have often considered opening early when the weather seemed right. “We’ve thought about this more than once, and truthfully, we just can’t resist trying it out this year” says Stephanie Parker who handles social media relations for the farm. Hours will be shorter than usual – 10:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. and pre-bookings cannot be made for birthday parties until the regular season opens, but when it’s a nice day, let’s play! What IS open · Berry bounce · Mini berry bounce · Munchkin Meadows · Play structure · Grain bin · Café for washroom use · Cold drinks, coffee, muffins & a small selection of packaged snacks What’s NOT open · Full farm animal display · Corn maze · Café kitchen · Pedal karts · Pre booked birthday parties or groups Pricing: 2016 season’s pass, OR: pay ½ price regular admission ($6.50) OR pay ½ price family pass($17.50) .
