"Break the Silence" to kick-off Family Violence Prevention Month Location: Bankers Hall, 315 – 8th Avenue S.W., Calgary, Alberta When: Thursday, November 01, 2012 at 11:15 AM On November 1st, the Calgary Domestic Violence Collaborative will kick off Family Violence Prevention Month with an event at Bankers Hall to "break the silence" and raise awareness to help end family violence. Community leaders including police chief Rick Hanson and entrepreneur W. Brett Wilson will stand up and speak out against family violence, while community agencies will be on hand to talk about the efforts they are making to help people affected by it.
