(sharp!) After returning from another succesful and busy tour in the Netherlands, Belgium and Berlin this past spring, Little Birdie has been busy recording two albums in Toronto, one of which is a solo album of eleven new songs that reflect her solitary wanderings as a troubadour. The second is a sassy but serious album, with some of Toronto's finest musicians, including juno-award winner Julian Fauth on piano, Tim Hamel (trumpet player with the Derek Miller), Paul Brennan on drums (former drummer of Sarah McLaughlan). Good and busy times bring a whole new energy to Little Birdie's performances. You won't be disappointed. And the fabulous Eve Hell will be playing upright on the second set.
