Your Own Backyard - Your Own Backyard - Protecting Fish Creek and the Bow River from within your own Backyard - Presented by Michelle Mueller, Public Program Coordinator, City of Calgary, Water Resources For many people who live near Fish Creek, this park is an extension of their own backyard. Whether you live a block away from Fish Creek Provincial Park or as far as 16 km or more, we all play a role in protecting the creek. Learn some useful gardening tips and tricks, including plant lists, to help protect the quality of the water in the creek. Also, get an update on The City of Calgary’s Stormwater Management Strategy and upcoming stormwater management projects underway in the city.
