"Sing Along Messiah" is a performance where the audience is invited to sing along in the choruses while other selections from the piece are performed in usual concert fashion, without audience participation. "Sing Along Messiah" features VoiceScapes with up and coming vocal soloists from across Alberta. In addition, 125 students from St. Mary s High School Choir and E.P. Scarlett High School Choir joins VoiceScapes and VoiceScapes Chamber Orchestra, all under the baton of Timothy Shantz. Performances of Handel s Messiah at Christmas are a time-honoured tradition in many English-speaking countries across the world.
