Acquire great art! The Alberta College of Art + Design Students Association presents the annual Winter Show & Sale 2010: Nov 25th 27th. For over 20 years, we have invited the public to take advantage of this rare opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind work from ACAD students and to invest in our emerging artists. Show & Sale is one of the most highly anticipated events at ACAD. This biannual event showcases art + craft + design pieces created by talented students of every year and every department at the Alberta College of Art + Design - one of the leading art and design schools in Canada. The work available includes ceramics, design, drawing, fibre, glass, jewellery, media arts and digital technology, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Hundreds of Show & Sale patrons come through the doors over the 3-day weekend event. There is no admission fee. All funds raised go back to the students. ACAD is located next to the Jubilee Auditorium/C-train station. .
